What is Touch -A- Truck?

To celebrate 25 Years of Business, Kurk Concrete organized Touch—A—Truck to introduce kids and families to the construction and trades industry and to raise awareness that there are many rewarding opportunities in the construction industry. Introducing students to the construction industry is a crucial step in ensuring that the best and brightest students choose careers as trades people, engineers, project managers and estimators.   

General admission is FREE for everyone! We will be FILLING THE TRUCK for the Love Inc. and do suggest a non—perishable donation to help FILL THE TRUCK.

What child doesn’t dream about getting behind the wheel of a dump truck, tractor, back hoe, or tow truck? Touch—A—Truck makes their wildest dreams come true! This family friendly event provides a unique opportunity for kids to explore and learn about all types of vehicles—emergency, construction, transportation, utility, delivery, and many more all in one area. Children will be allowed to touch, climb, sit in the driver’s seat, pose for photos, and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe, supervised environment. Accompanying personnel will teach the children about the equipment and vehicles displayed and how these machines help us and our local community.  Along with all the fun vehicles, food will be available and children will be able to visit the FUN ZONE for face painting, a coloring contest, and more!
